White-tailed Deer Hunts
2007-8 Season

This year we will take 2 or 3 mature bucks.  We have not taken any mature bucks in the last 3 years because we wanted the herd to age.  We know we have good genetics and good food.  It was very tempting but we resisted shooting some great looking 3.5 and 4.5 year old bucks.  The supplemental feed from food plots and protein is showing very good results. 

Now our plan is to shoot trophy bucks 5.5 years and older. We will also be shooting a few does and management bucks.
 

We have numerous ground and elevated blinds as well as tripods and tree stands. Hunt near the big San Miguel creek, cactus and mesquite flats, or in the high brush….your choice.

White-tailed Deer Package Descriptions
  1. Muy Grande Buck Hunt: You take a 150 point class buck, 3 days of guided hunting, meals and 3 nights at the lodge.

  2. Trophy Buck Hunt: You can take 1 of our Mature buck with 8 points or better, 3 days of guided hunting, meals and 3 nights at the lodge.

  3. Management Buck Hunt: You take a buck of our choosing, 3 days of guided hunting, meals, and 3 nights at the lodge.

  4. Guided Doe Hunt: You can take 2 does. You get 2 night stay at the lodge with meals as part of this package.

  5. Guided Doe and Javelina Hunt: You can take 1 doe and 1 javelina. You get 2 nights stay at the lodge with meals.

  6. Lodge Accommodations: Non-hunting guests are welcome.
